Surely not, but medical errors are the third-leading cause of death... that sounds like a systemic problem. And how do we come to nearly 25% of all surgeries being unnecessary? That's one in four. You can point at medical malpractice suits as a problem but when one in four operations are done unnecessarily, that would seem to point to some being malpractice or just plain greed.
